Senior Application Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to support microservices-based applications running across Linux platforms, Kubernetes environments, and AWS/cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain microservices-based applications across Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor system health and respond to production incidents and service degradations.
• Troubleshoot application and platform issues using logs, metrics, and system diagnostics.
• Work closely with development and platform teams to resolve service and infrastructure issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to operational improvements.
• Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in a 24x7 rotational support schedule.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience supporting production applications or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, and TLS/SSL certificates.
• Experience troubleshooting application connectivity and service issues.
• Experience supporting microservices architectures, deployments, scalability, and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes/container platforms, and AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability tools.
  Familiarity with Git workflows and basic scripting using Bash, Python, or similar.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting API gateways, messaging systems, or platform services.
• Exposure to DevOps or SRE environments.
• Cloud or Kubernetes certifications such as CKAD or AWS certifications.
