About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to provide advanced technical and application support while contributing to system enhancements and operational improvements.

In this role, you will investigate and resolve complex application and integration issues, support cloud-based systems, maintain technical documentation, and implement minor fixes and enhancements using Java and Spring Boot. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, smooth deployments, and efficient support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, system, and integration issues.
• Manage and follow through on support tickets, escalating complex concerns when necessary.
• Implement minor bug fixes and feature enhancements using Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and release verification activities.
• Monitor cloud-based applications and infrastructure, preferably within AWS environments.
• Support deployments and help ensure application uptime and system reliability.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge base articles.
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support initiatives involving automation and AI-enabled enhancements to improve support efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, tools, and technical solutions.
• Handle sensitive organizational data responsibly and maintain professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical support, application support, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting software, system, and integration issues.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira, Odoo, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture or middleware integrations.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as React or SAP UI5.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs, automation tools, or AI-enabled solutions.
