Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer with strong experience in Java/Spring Boot, application support, troubleshooting, and cloud environments. The role will be responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting application stability, implementing system enhancements, and collaborating with development and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and integration issues.
• Manage support tickets and escalate complex technical concerns when necessary.
• Implement bug fixes and minor enhancements using Java/Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews, QA testing, deployments, and release verification.
• Monitor AWS infrastructure and support application availability and performance.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, SOPs, and internal knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and other teams to resolve issues and improve support processes.
• Contribute to automation and AI-enabled initiatives that improve support team efficiency.
• Take ownership of assigned issues from investigation through resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical support, application support, software engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or comparable backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments is preferred.
• Experience using ticketing tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Odoo, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile workflows and software development practices.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, collaboration, and adaptability.
• Able to handle sensitive organizational and HR-related information with professionalism and integrity.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture or middleware integrations.
• Exposure to React, SAP UI5, or other frontend frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or automation tools.
