We're Hiring: Senior Support Software Engineer

Work Location: BGC, Taguig City
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Software Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, maintain enterprise applications, and implement software enhancements. The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring Boot skills, experience in application support, and familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical support issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge base articles.
• Implement minor bug fixes and feature enhancements using Java/Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance testing.
• Monitor AWS infrastructure, ensure application uptime, and assist with deployments and release verification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
• Support automation initiatives and AI-enabled enhancements to streamline support processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical support, application support, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience using ticketing tools such as Odoo, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Agile workflows and enterprise architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous learning.
• Ability to handle sensitive organizational and HR data with professionalism and integrity.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or middleware integrations.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or SAP UI5.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or automation tools.
