Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer with strong technical support and backend development experience to troubleshoot enterprise applications, resolve complex technical issues, and implement system fixes and enhancements. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams and support Java/Spring Boot applications, AWS infrastructure, APIs, and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical support tickets and application issues.
• Diagnose system, integration, and application problems and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Implement bug fixes and minor feature enhancements using Java/Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews, QA testing, deployments, and release verification.
• Monitor AWS infrastructure and assist in maintaining application uptime.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate solutions clearly.
• Support automation and AI-enabled initiatives that improve support team efficiency.
• Take ownership of assigned tickets and ensure timely resolution and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical support, application support, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AWS is preferred.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Odoo, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or middleware integrations.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or SAP UI5.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or automation tools.
