  • Execute system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop reusable regression tests and automated test assets where appropriate.

  • Support business users through User Acceptance Testing.
  • Prepare test completion reports and residual-risk assessments.
  • Develop business sign-off documentation.
  • Provide release-readiness and production-verification advice.
  • Support quality assurance across data processing, reporting and business workflows.
  • Contribute to lessons learned, benefits realisation and testing improvement recommendations.
  • Work closely with project, technical and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Expected outcomes

The successful candidates will help ensure that:

  • Business requirements and rules are traceable and adequately tested.
  • Application functionality meets agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Business processes operate as intended.
  • Material data discrepancies are identified, investigated and reported.
  • System, integration, regression and user acceptance testing is completed in line with approved testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Defects and quality risks are visible and appropriately managed.
  • Business users are effectively supported through UAT.
  • Release decisions are supported by clear and objective test evidence.
  • Delivered capabilities are fit for purpose and suitable for implementation.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced application or system tester with demonstrated capability delivering structured testing within complex digital or technology environments.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong experience developing and executing formal test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
  • Demonstrated experience across system testing, integration testing, regression testing and UAT.
  • Experience testing business-critical applications and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of requirements traceability and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, documenting and managing defects.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for test and defect management.
  • Strong experience with data validation, reconciliation and migration testing.
  • The ability to analyse expected and actual system outcomes and investigate discrepancies.
  • Experience preparing test reports, quality assessments and release-readiness recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with business users, developers, analysts and technical delivery teams.

Experience in the following will be particularly valuable:
