Senior Architect

Role Description This full-time Senior Architect role is an on-site position based in Istanbul, Türkiye. The Senior Architect will lead the design and coordination of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, collaborating closely with engineering, construction, and stakeholder teams, and overseeing integration of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the overall design. The role also involves managing project timelines and budgets, supervising junior team members, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting quality assurance across all project phases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural design development from concept through construction documentation for large-scale, technically complex projects.
• Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models in Revit across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure design integrity, constructability, and compliance with applicable technical standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, specifications, and design packages supporting both domestic and international project execution.
• Provide design leadership, quality control, and mentorship to junior architectural staff.
• Ensure design deliverables align with project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, technical detailing, and code compliance.
• Experience in Integration of multidisciplinary systems within building projects and coordination with engineering teams.
• Proven Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with Software Development concepts or digital tools that support architectural workflows (e.g., BIM, CAD platforms, and collaboration software).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration/licensure is preferred.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), with strong visualization and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor less experienced colleagues, and work effectively in an on-site environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluency in English is a must, a second foreign language is an asset.
