TheDraftingDay is the architecture and interior design vertical of Techoftheday, focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and visually distinctive spaces. By combining architectural expertise with creative thinking, we aim to develop spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and purpose.

We are looking to collaborate with an experienced Senior Architect who can lead projects from concept to execution while working closely with our creative team to develop cohesive design concepts and compelling visual presentations.

Role Overview

As a Senior Architect, you will lead architectural design, technical development, and project execution for assigned projects. You will collaborate with Techoftheday’s creative team to align architectural concepts with branding, visual communication, and presentation requirements, ensuring a consistent vision from the initial brief to the final built space.

This is a project-based collaboration suited for an architect who combines design sensibility, technical expertise, execution experience, and collaborative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design and Development

• Lead architectural planning and design for assigned projects.
• Develop design concepts, spatial layouts, floor plans, elevations, 3D visualisations, and detailed drawings.
• Translate client requirements and project briefs into functional, aesthetically strong, and technically feasible design solutions.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, construction details, and execution documentation.

Creative Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Techoftheday’s creative team on concept development, creative direction, and design presentations.
• Collaborate on visual storytelling, mood boards, material palettes, 3D visualisations, and project presentation decks.
• Align architectural and interior design concepts with the project's branding, identity, and overall creative direction where relevant.
• Contribute architectural insights to branding, spatial experience, signage, and environmental graphics.
• Coordinate with designers and visualisation teams to ensure design intent is communicated accurately across all project deliverables.

Project Execution and Coordination

• Oversee site execution to ensure alignment with approved designs, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues or discrepancies.
• Guide execution teams on construction details, materials, and design requirements.
• Monitor project timelines, workmanship, and execution quality.
• Manage design revisions, documentation, and project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project execution.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects and end-to-end project involvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant 3D modelling, rendering, and presentation tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, detailing, and site coordination.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into practical architectural solutions.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned projects and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Willingness to undertake site visits as required.

Collaboration Model

• Project-based engagement, not a full-time employment arrangement.
• Project scope, deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and professional fees will be agreed upon before commencement.
• Depending on the project, the scope may include design development, creative collaboration, technical documentation, site supervision, execution management, and handover.
• Collaboration with Techoftheday’s creative team will be integrated into relevant project stages.
• Opportunities for continued collaboration across future projects based on project requirements and mutual fit.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an architect who understands both the creative and practical sides of building design. Someone who can collaborate with a creative team, contribute to design-led thinking, manage technical details, and take ownership of projects through execution.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
