Senior Architect - Heritage Projects

The opportunity for a capable Senior Architect has arrived!. Bring your technical knowledge and 'know-how' to the group, along with an eye for detail and a creative way of thinking. Proven track record of project lifecycles, complex drawing packages, and client management is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Successful running of a scale of projects, principally being refurbishment or alterations and additions to existing (heritage) buildings
• Liaise and manage existing and potential clients through all aspects of a project lifecycle
• Generate and refine design, prepare project documentation and report writing
• Produce design related information and reports, both written and graphic
• Co-ordinate and manage internal team members and external specialist consultants, stages or packages
• Generate technical and detailed driven solutions
• Complete projects to a high standard, on time and to budget
• Support the delivery of projects on-site, either through the provision of technical advice or contract administrator

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualification in Architecture or Heritage Conservation
• Current ARBV Registration
• 5+ years post grad experience
• Proven ability to independently manage the delivery of services and projects
• Experience working on architectural or heritage advisory projects
• Excellent technical knowledge of conservation refurbishment, alterations and additions, adaptive re-use and construction detailing
• Experience leading a team, and developing individuals
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• High-level Revit & AutoCAD proficiency
• Local experience essential
