- Identify non-compliant materials or installations and escalate them through the approved project procedures.
- Monitor site implementation of approved method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality checklists.
Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions
- Record quality observations and support the preparation and follow-up of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate root-cause reviews and corrective actions with the responsible site teams and subcontractors.
- Verify rectification works and maintain evidence of closure.
- Highlight recurring defects and recommend practical improvements to inspection and construction processes.
Documentation, Reporting, and Handover
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality checklists, material inspection logs, photographs, and corrective-action trackers.
- Prepare quality reports highlighting inspection status, outstanding defects, NCRs, and areas requiring management attention.
- Support snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, and handover documentation.
- Provide technical architectural QA/QC support to strengthen finishing quality control within the project team.
- Coordinate with construction teams to achieve quality requirements within project schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of GCC experience.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural QA/QC, site inspections, interior fit-out, and finishing works on building projects.
- Proven experience reviewing WIRs and MIRs, coordinating consultant inspections, and following NCRs and corrective actions through closure.
- Strong understanding of architectural materials, installation methods, workmanship standards, and finishing tolerances.
