Senior Architect / Site Architect

About the Role

LEI Interior Design LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Architect / Site Architect with a strong background in luxury residential interiors, high-end fit-out, and design & build projects.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail-oriented, and confident in managing projects from drawings through to site execution. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise architectural and interior fit-out works on site.
• Oversee daily site activities and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and prepare architectural drawings, shop drawings, detailed drawings, and construction details.
• Coordinate drawings and technical requirements with the design, civil, MEP, joinery, marble, flooring, ceiling, lighting, and other site teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials, dimensions, finishes, and installation quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of works.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination problems.
• Review site measurements and ensure accurate implementation of drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants and obtain necessary technical clarifications and approvals.
• Monitor project progress and report site issues, delays, and requirements to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that construction works follow approved materials, finishes, and design intent.
• Assist with material selections, mock-ups, samples, and finish approvals when required.
• Review and coordinate joinery, marble, flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and architectural details.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records, snagging lists, and progress updates.
• Conduct snagging and ensure all outstanding works are completed to the required standard.
• Coordinate with the client and project team during inspections and handovers.
• Ensure proper coordination between design drawings and actual site conditions.
• Support the Project Manager in maintaining project schedules and achieving project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, interior fit-out, or design & build projects.
• Proven experience in luxury residential projects is required.
• Experience working on high-end villas, luxury apartments, penthouses, or premium residential interiors is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and architectural detailing.
• Strong experience in site supervision and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is an advantage.
• Ability to read, understand, review, and prepare technical and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Excellent understanding of joinery, marble, flooring, ceilings, lighting, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and other interior finishes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and approvals is an advantage.
