Senior Architect Technical Office

Senior Architect – Technical Office responsible for providing technical and architectural support throughout the construction phase, ensuring that all architectural works comply with approved designs, project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards. Responsible for technical coordination with the Client, PMC, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, while supporting project delivery in terms of quality, cost, schedule, and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, As-Built drawings, and closeout documentation.
• Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, and contractor/client clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, local codes, authority requirements, and international standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, PMC, Client, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor contractor submissions and site activities to prevent design changes, deviations, and non-compliance.
• Review architectural materials, finishes, and construction details.
• Participate in coordination and progress meetings and prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOM).
• Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports for the PMC and Client.
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Provide technical advice and architectural support to the project team, PMC, and Client.
• Support the team in managing potential claims and design-related risks.
• Coordinate BIM/Revit models and architectural technical documentation.
• Manage technical correspondence and documentation through Aconex.
• Support project closeout, handover, and final documentation activities.
