• Position Title: Senior Architectural Draftsman
• Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
• Location: Doha, Qatar
• Experience Required: 5–6 Years (GCC experience preferred)

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting: Convert initial architectural sketches, concepts, and IFC drawings into comprehensive, highly precise working drawings, detailed floor plans, elevations, and structural sections.
• Detailing & Joinery: Produce complete technical packages including detailed joinery, millwork, ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, and bathroom interior details.
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Merge artistic architectural plans with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) layouts, structural designs, and life safety regulations.
• Shop Drawings & Submittals: Lead the preparation, review, and submittal of detailed shop drawings, as-built packages, and material take-offs.
• RFI & Discrepancy Resolution: Evaluate drawings to identify spatial or engineering conflicts, resolve technical discrepancies, and respond to site RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Document Control: Maintain highly organized drawing registers, revisions, and historical records to ensure smooth site operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Drafting.
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory. Familiarity with BIM workflows, 3ds Max, or SketchUp is a strong asset.
• Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building materials, construction detailing, local authority regulations (e.g., civil defense, fire codes), and fit-out methodology.
• Communication: Fluency in English (written and verbal). Strong coordination skills to interface smoothly with clients, site engineers, and project management teams.

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
