Senior Architectural Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you an experienced Architectural Technician who knows Revit inside out? Do you enjoy taking a design through to a detailed, buildable set of drawings, and helping others to do the same? If so, this is a great opportunity to join a well established, director led practice as a Senior Architectural Technician.

DUTIES:

• Prepare DA, DD and CD documentation in Revit, with documentation packages to BCA and NCC requirements
• Detail and coordinate drawing sets with the architects and consultants
• Answer technical queries from builders and clients through design and construction
• Help refine the studio's Revit templates, details and drafting standards
• Support and check the work of junior technicians and Architectural Graduates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Ideally 7+ years of experience in a technical documentation role within an architectural practice
• Advanced Revit documentation skills
• Applied knowledge of the BCA, NCC and Australian Standards
• A portfolio demonstrating project experience
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with architects, builders and clients
