Senior Architecture Designer _ Mixed Use

About the Role

Ideate in collaboration with the Design Director and the whole team to create innovative designs in response to complex challenges. Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives. Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings. Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts. Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development. A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious. Provide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members. Participate in office culture and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Architecture, or foreign equivalent
• 10+ years of related project experience, preferably in commercial-led and residential-led mixed use, but also across various practice areas
• Registered Architect
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes
• LEED accreditation a plus
