Senior Associate, Data Analyst

As we take this ambitious journey toward 1,000 stores, we’re looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Data Analyst – Site Acquisition to turn data into high-impact expansion decisions. This role will be at the forefront of Inofarma’s growth, responsible for analyzing demographic, commercial, customer, competitor, and location data to identify the most promising areas for new stores.

You will play a critical role in developing data-driven site selection models, evaluating location potential, forecasting store performance, and translating complex data into clear recommendations for the Expansion and Operations teams. By combining analytics, market intelligence, and business acumen, you will help Inofarma answer one of the most important questions in our expansion journey: “Where should we open our next store to maximize growth and profitability?”

Key responsibilities

1. Data Analysis for Location Selection

   • Conduct detailed analyses of demographic, economic, and market data to identify high-potential areas for new store openings.
   • Evaluate traffic patterns, population density, income levels, and competitive landscapes to recommend optimal store locations.
   • Develop revenue and profitability projections for proposed locations using data models and forecasting tools.

2. Market Research

   • Research market trends, customer behavior, and industry benchmarks to support the company’s expansion goals.
   • Identify potential risks and opportunities in proposed regions based on market and competitor analysis.
   • Perform a competitor and pricing analysis.

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

   • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for newly opened stores, comparing actual performance against projections.
   • Create and maintain post-opening performance reports, highlighting areas of success and potential improvement.
   • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing store performance.

4. Support for Strategic Recommendations

   • Assist the VP Operations and Expansion Manager in preparing reports and presentations for leadership, summarizing location research and store performance.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that support the company’s expansion strategy.

5. Database Management

   • Maintain and update a centralized database of market data, competitor analysis, and store performance metrics for ongoing reference.
   • Ensure data accuracy and reliability to support future decision-making.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, market research, or a related field
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or GIS software
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex datasets
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in project coordination
• Strong communication and presentation skills for reporting insights and updates
• Experience in project coordination or supporting operational processes is highly desirable
• Experience in retail or real estate is a plus
• Fluent in English -- both in verbal and written form.
