• PwC India is looking for an experienced DevOps SRE to join our Technology Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background

• in software engineering and a passion for automating and improving operations processes. This role involves working closely with development

• and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available systems

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of DevOps experience with good experience in any one of the hyperscalers
• Leverage AI tools for enhancing productivity and improving quality of the DevOps process
• Azure DevOps/Jenkins: Proficient in using Azure DevOps or Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines,
• with the ability to design and implement complex automation workflows.
• Kubernetes: Solid experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, including setting up clusters, pod
• management, and networking.
• Terraform/ARM Template: Strong experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate the provisioning of infrastructure on Azure.
• Linux: Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration, file systems, and networking.

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting for automating tasks and operations procedures. Knowledge of Groovy
• scripting is a plus.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana),
• or Azure Monitor to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Security Practices: Understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment, including secure coding practices, security automation, and vulnerability assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins, ensuring seamless and automated deployment processes.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates to automate the provisioning and management of Azure infrastructure.
• Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate operations tasks and improve system efficiency.

Preferred Skill Set- Shell/Python/Powershell Scripting, Groovy
