Senior Associate- Full Stack Engineer

Job purpose

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python, React, AWS, and modern AI-assisted software development practices. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable web applications, developing cloud-native solutions, and leveraging emerging agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and AI-assisted development frameworks to enhance engineering productivity.

The role requires a hands-on developer who can contribute across the full technology stack, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and deliver high-quality solutions within fast-paced environments.

Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React.

• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern React frameworks and component libraries.

• Build robust backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available application architectures.

• Develop and manage API integrations with internal and external platforms.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for application deployment and monitoring.

AI-Assisted Engineering

• Utilize agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and similar solutions to improve development productivity.

• Incorporate AI-assisted development practices into software engineering workflows.

• Evaluate new AI coding technologies and recommend best practices for adoption.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish standards for AI-enabled software development.

Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and software engineering best practices.

Key competencies

• Experience within Financial Services, Asset Management, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or FinTech environments.
• Experience developing data-intensive or analytics-driven applications.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and cloud-native design patterns.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLM integrations, or AI-powered applications.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Experience

• 5-10 years of professional software development experience.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade full-stack applications.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
