Senior Associate Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
• Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
• Prepare for court depositions and participate in trial preparation activities to advocate effectively on behalf of clients
• Assist with negotiating settlements and alternative dispute resolutions that align with client objectives while maintaining strong advocacy standards
• Maintain organized case files using NetDocs and ensure adherence to procedural laws and court deadlines

Skills

• Experience in litigation with a solid understanding of procedural law
• Proven ability in legal research utilizing LexisNexis
• Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through successful settlement discussions
• Excellent legal writing skills for drafting motions, pleadings, contracts, and legal correspondence
• Proficiency in court depositions and trial preparation techniques
• Familiarity with legal case management software and administrative procedures within a law office setting
• Exceptional research capabilities coupled with a comprehensive understanding of statutory legal research methods
• Effective client communication skills with an emphasis on advocacy and clarity in complex legal matters

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
