Senior Associate, Management Reporting

We're working with a leading alternative investment firm in NYC looking to add a Senior Associate to its Management Reporting team.

This is a highly analytical role sitting close to senior leadership and focused on understanding the economics of the management company, producing bespoke analysis and helping solve complex, often ambiguous business questions.

Responsibilities:

• Produce management reporting and bespoke financial analysis for senior leadership.
• Analyze key drivers of the firm's management company economics.
• Develop reporting and analysis around revenue, expenses, compensation and other financial trends.
• Partner across Finance and the broader business on ad hoc strategic projects.
• Build and enhance financial models to support decision making and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting and analytical processes.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• CPA is required.
• Background in alternative asset management, strategic finance, management reporting, FP&A, investment banking or a related analytical finance function.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
• Experience delivering ad hoc / bespoke analysis to senior leadership.
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to automation / AI tools is a plus.
• Experience with alternative investments or management company economics is particularly relevant.
