The Senior Associate in Medical Transcription (MT) at Manipal Hospitals is responsible for transcribing medical dictations into accurate and clear patient records. This role involves listening to voice recordings made by healthcare professionals and converting them into written documents while ensuring adherence to confidentiality and compliance with medical standards. The Senior Associate will also review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, format documents according to the organization?s requirements, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to clarify information as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of medical terminology, alongside proficiency in transcription technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe voice recordings into written medical reports accurately and efficiently.
• Review and edit transcriptions for grammatical, typographical, and contextual accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with health information privacy regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, transcription practices, and relevant software applications.
