Private Client Senior Associate

We’re looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our established and growing team.

Whether you’re already working at Senior Associate level and looking for a fresh challenge, or you’re an experienced Private Client lawyer who is ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload, build strong client relationships, develop your own client base and play an active role in the continued growth of our Private Client team.

The role

You’ll advise clients across a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and complex estate administration
• High-net-worth tax and lifetime planning
• Trust creation and administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters, including statutory wills
• Advising on potential disputes and alternative dispute resolution

You’ll manage a varied caseload with a good level of autonomy, while also supporting and supervising more junior members of the team.

There will also be opportunities to get involved in business development, networking and marketing, helping to develop both your own profile and the wider department.

About you

You’ll ideally have:

• 8+ years’ PQE in a reputable Private Client department
• Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts and tax
• Experience handling complex matters and high-net-worth clients
• Court of Protection experience, including statutory wills
• Experience supervising or supporting junior colleagues
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach to business development
• The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision

STEP accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: From £55,000.00 per year
