Senior Associate-Sharepoint developer

Job purpose

The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise SharePoint and Power Platform solutions that enable effective collaboration, document management, workflow automation, and knowledge sharing across the organization. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions using

SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience operating in banking and financial services environments, and the ability to leverage emerging AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem to improve business processes and user productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SharePoint Online sites, pages, and web parts to improve user experience and business productivity.
• Develop and maintain modern SharePoint pages and portals for enterprise business initiatives.
• Implement custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Configure and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, metadata, permissions, and site collections.
• Implement JSON-based customizations for document libraries, list formatting, and content presentation.
• Optimize information architecture, navigation structures, page layouts, and site usability.
• Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate Power Apps with SharePoint for business process automation and digital forms.
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for document approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and operational processes.
• Design end-to-end document management and workflow solutions leveraging SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications and workflows for performance and reliability.
• Conduct solution design workshops and provide recommendations aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, deployment plans, and user guides.
• Support testing, deployment, issue resolution, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Generative AI within SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities using Microsoft Copilot, and Power Platform AI feature.

Key competencies

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint development and administration.
• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online and Modern SharePoint.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
• Strong experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience developing document management and workflow automation solutions.
• Good understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, governance, and compliance.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience working with Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Financial Institutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
