Senior Audit Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Audit Assistant to join our professional team. This role is for a professional who possesses strong technical expertise and the leadership skills necessary to drive audit engagements while maintaining seamless office operations.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

* Educational Background: Must have successfully completed CA Articleship and be currently pursuing CA Final.

* Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of total experience within a Chartered Accountancy firm environment.

* Commitment: We are looking for candidates who are willing to serve for a longer duration to ensure continuity and growth within the firm.

* Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise audit assignments independently, providing guidance and review for junior audit staff.

Core Responsibilities

* Audit Management: Leading statutory, internal, and tax audit assignments from planning to finalization.

* Operational Execution: Responsible for executing daily office work in close coordination with senior partners/management.

* Reporting: Maintaining a disciplined workflow with daily reporting of work progress to ensure all deadlines are met.

* Compliance: Ensuring all audit procedures align with relevant Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS) and Standards on Auditing (SAs).

* Taxation: Overseeing GST reconciliations, Income Tax computations, and ensuring timely filing of relevant returns.

* Team Coordination: Delegating tasks to articles and junior assistants, ensuring work is completed accurately.

Desired Skills

* Proficiency in TallyPrime, MS Office (especially Advanced Excel), and tax filing software.

* Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act provisions.

* Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team management.

* Highly organized with a proactive approach to daily administrative and technical tasks.
