Senior Audit Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid [ 2x a week office ] [ 3x a week remote]

Job Overview

We are looking for a professional with relevant assurance experience in the Asset Management industry. In addition to supporting service delivery for key clients, the successful candidate will be responsible for coaching managers within the Asset Management segment, providing technical guidance, delivering industry-specific training, and contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. People Management and Development

• Empower, monitor, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance objectives and maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Identify development opportunities and training needs for high-performing managers.
• Assess technical and non-technical training requirements related to client servicing, decision-making, people management, and other operational areas.
• Conduct team performance reviews, provide mentorship, and foster a positive leadership culture that supports individual and team growth.

2. Business and Client Management

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and engagement teams within the Asset Management sector.
• Support business growth and quality improvement initiatives, including service delivery enhancements, process standardization, and the development of new solutions.
• Strengthen collaboration between global delivery teams and client-facing engagement teams to identify additional business opportunities.
• Support communication initiatives across the Asset Management segment to ensure effective information sharing and alignment.
• Assist the Segment Leader in developing annual business growth strategies, resource plans, and activity plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including business growth, quality feedback, resource utilization, risk management compliance, and employee attrition, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

3. Quality of Service Delivery

• Identify industry-specific training requirements and review and update existing training materials and curricula.
• Assist in developing and delivering technical training covering Asset Management and assurance methodologies.
• Support the resolution of service delivery quality issues and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational excellence.
• Promote knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across Asset Management teams.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Expert knowledge of Indian accounting principles and assurance standards.
• Extensive assurance experience in the Asset Management industry, particularly in Hedge Funds and Private Equity.
• Strong interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management, leadership, coaching, counseling, and supervisory capabilities.
• Proven experience in project and people management, particularly in supporting global clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

• A professional accounting qualification, such as Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in assurance or external auditing, preferably with reputable accounting or professional services firms.
• International work experience of at least 2 years is an added advantage.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and an understanding of business operations.

Pay: Php120,000.00 - Php155,000.00 per month
