Senior Auditor

About the Role

The Senior Auditor will lead internal and external audit engagements, evaluate controls, prepare audit documentation, and support the development of our audit function.

Mandatory contracting audit experience.

This role is ideal for auditors who want to be part of a growing firm and contribute directly to building an audit department from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to reporting.
• Develop detailed audit programs aligned with professional audit standards.
• Conduct audit tests across financial reporting, operations, AML, sanctions, and contracting processes.
• Review financial records, internal controls, and compliance with IFRS, ISA, and UAE regulations. Perform risk assessments and tailor audit procedures accordingly.
• Prepare clear audit reports, work papers, and recommendations.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the firm’s transition from tax consultancy to audit practice by contributing to audit methodologies, manuals, and quality frameworks.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors; provide training and feedback. Travel within the UAE.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA) — mandatory. Academic certificate must be attested and equivalency completed in the UAE.
• 3–7 years of audit experience (internal & external).
• Mandatory contracting audit experience. Strong technical knowledge of:o IFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customerso IFRS 16 – Leases
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UAE compliance requirements.
• Experience auditing AML, sanctions, and operational processes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and timemanagement skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Police Clearance / Good Conduct Certificate required.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
