Location: Hybrid (Johannesburg) | Work Model: Remote | Contract Type: 2-Month Minimum Contract (Extensions Possible) |Start: January 2027

GCO Partners connects high-calibre South African Audit Seniors with leading UK external audit firms through a structured, high-performance delivery model. We are assembling a dedicated Johannesburg-based Audit Senior team to support UK clients during the 2027 busy season.

This is a senior-level delivery role for auditors who can take ownership of full audit files, lead teams, and deliver consistently under UK audit standards, without the need to relocate.

You will work directly with UK engagement teams, supporting a portfolio of Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) and privately held companies across multiple sectors. This role delivers meaningful UK audit exposure while remaining Johannesburg-based, enabling you to strengthen technical depth, leadership capability, and international credibility during peak audit periods.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years post-articles external audit experience
• Recent UK audit exposure (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrated ability to manage full audit files with limited supervision
• Proven experience leading teams and reviewing junior work
• Strong CaseWare capability, including complex audit sections
• Professionally qualified: CA(SA), ACCA, SAICA, or equivalent
• Ability to work on-site in Johannesburg with hybrid flexibility
