A well-regarded Australian bank is looking to hire a Senior Automation Engineer to join their network automation team on a permanent basis in Sydney

The role would suit someone with strong experience network software development and advanced python skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and enhance the software platforms and automation systems
• Continuously improve how large-scale networks are managed and automated
• Transform complex network workflows into scalable, reliable internal tools and services
• Collaborate closely with network engineers
• Work in an AI-assisted engineering environment

Key Requirements

• Experience building applications in a networks domain
• Strong Automation and IaC skills - hands on with Ansible and Terraform
• Understanding of Operating systems and container platforms
• Advanced Python skills - must have
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
