Senior Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We're filling a position for a skilled Developer & Automation Expert with strong, hands-on n8n expertise to design, build, and take ownership of end-to-end automations and data workflows throughout our business. It's a mid-to-senior role for a true developer and automations expert who brings solid software architecture experience, ease with multiple databases, and a disciplined documentation habit. Ideally, you own automation projects from the first concept through deployment and love building reliable, well-structured systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive automation projects A to Z, from planning through deployment and ongoing maintenance
• Integrate and link tools across our stack, including Supabase, Airtable, and GreenAPI
• Design, build, and support end-to-end automation workflows in n8n
• Architect and manage databases
• Carry out data engineering tasks and ensure data flows cleanly and reliably across systems
• Document every development and workflow clearly and thoroughly
• Bring CI/CD best practices into deployment and release processes
• Use Git for version control and team development
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and keep improving existing automations and data pipelines

Mandatory Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Solid experience in software architecture
• Background working with multiple databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB, Supabase)
• Strong track record building automations and workflows in n8n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and processes
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
• Strong data engineering fundamentals
• Ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation
• Methodical, dependable, and self-starting
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on Airtable experience
• Experience building automations across a range of business functions
• Ability to run multiple development projects in parallel
• Proven history of owning full development lifecycles on your own
