Senior Automation Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a dynamic technology team responsible for delivering high-quality enterprise applications. The successful candidate will lead test automation initiatives, develop robust automation frameworks, and support continuous testing efforts within Agile and DevOps environments. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation engineering, software quality assurance, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Develop automation solutions for web, API, database, desktop, cloud, and enterprise applications.
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation assets and testing standards.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and provide actionable reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality objectives are met.
• Support manual testing activities and validate test coverage when necessary.
• Conduct automation framework enhancements and continuous process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and platforms.
• Experience automating web applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise solutions.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based environments and enterprise-scale applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and test automation integration.
• Exposure to monitoring, workflow automation, and modern automation platforms.
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute to automation best practices.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work setup with onsite reporting several times per week.
• Regular business hours following Manila Time.
• Initial contract engagement with potential extension based on business requirements and performance.

Pay: Php600.00 - Php850.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
