Senior Automation Engineer - Database Testing II CloudAngles

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced QE Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, C#, and Database/ETL Testing to validate complex data pipelines and ensure the accuracy and reliability of enterprise-scale data platforms. The candidate will work closely with data engineers, developers, and Data Science teams to build automation frameworks and validate data integrity across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and C#
• Validate ETL pipelines for data accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic
• Perform in-depth database testing across large, complex datasets using SQL
• Build reusable and scalable automation frameworks for data and application testing
• Collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to validate model inputs, outputs, and data quality
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using standard defect-management tools
• Analyze test results and data discrepancies to pinpoint root causes across ETL and database layers
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Create and maintain test documentation, test plans, and detailed test reports
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define test strategy for new data and AI initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, automation efficiency, and data validation processes
