Our client, a Federal Government entity is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer.

About the role - Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Design, develop, deploy, maintain and optimise cloud-based applications, integrations, APIs, serverless services and containerised workloads.

Duties - Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

• Designing and developing cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and integration services
• Building event-driven, serverless and containerised solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions
• Designing and provisioning AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK) in accordance with security, governance and operational requirements

Skills / Experience - Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

• Experience with Solution Designs, Cloud Architecture Diagrams, and API Specifications
• Experience with IAC Artefacts, Operational Runbooks, and Deployment Guides
• Experience with Support Documentation, and Functional & Non-Functional Specifications
