Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure architecture, networking, security, governance, automation, and cloud modernization , with experience working in complex enterprise or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient Azure cloud architectures .
• Lead Azure Landing Zone , subscription management, governance, and enterprise cloud strategy.
• Architect Azure networking solutions including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, VPN, and ExpressRoute .
• Implement Azure security using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Zero Trust principles.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates .
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, DevSecOps, and CI/CD initiatives.
• Define strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, scalability, and cost optimization .
• Ensure Azure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, security, application, and business teams.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture documentation, and guidance to engineering teams.

Mandatory Skills

• 12–15+ years of overall IT experience with significant Azure Cloud Architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure Landing Zones, cloud governance, and enterprise architecture .
• Advanced knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid connectivity .
• Strong experience with Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and cloud security .
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/Bicep and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions .
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, HA/DR, monitoring, and enterprise infrastructure .
• Strong architectural design, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and containers .
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud .
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert / AZ-305 certification .
• Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments .

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of professional IT experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade Azure solutions .
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, compliance, and architecture best practices .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred.
