About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building scalable healthcare data platforms and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and enterprise data engineering practices. In this role, you will design, develop, and support cloud-native data platforms that enable business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality data solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with product owners, systems analysts, architects, and software engineers to deliver solutions aligned with Agile roadmaps.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale data engineering solutions using Azure, Databricks, Spark, and cloud technologies.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Develop and support Snowflake data warehouse solutions and data integration processes.
• Design and implement REST API integrations and data services.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to support enterprise data platforms.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and processing frameworks.
• Follow and improve continuous delivery, DevOps, and automation practices.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines, monitoring solutions, and operational support frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects to evaluate functional and non-functional requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Support Data as a Service (DaaS) and cloud-native platform initiatives.
• Implement reliability engineering principles, fault-tolerant architectures, and automated testing capabilities.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and support ServiceNow-based incident management processes.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Support cloud modernization and enterprise data platform transformation initiatives.
• Ensure data platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant with organizational standards.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6?10 years of experience in Data Engineering and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong experience working with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Experience working with Snowflake data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Experience building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven data processing architectures.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational support tools.
• Understanding of reliability engineering, deployment planning, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts and cloud-native application deployments.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
