Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Titile : Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Terraform & Azure Platform Position Overview

Help transform a large Azure environment into a governed, Infrastructure-as-Code platform. This role focuses on rebuilding Azure foundations, creating reusable Terraform modules, automating infrastructure deployment, and supporting the long-term modernization of cloud services.

What You'll Do

• Assess the existing Azure estate and gather technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Identify unused resources, waste, and decommissioning opportunities.
• Contribute to target architecture and Azure subscription strategy.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for landing zones, networking, and identity.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and validate foundational Azure platform components.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies while contributing production-quality infrastructure code.
• Follow established coding standards, naming conventions, and contribution guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Proven senior-level Azure platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, including module development, state management, and reusable patterns.
• Experience using GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation.
• Strong Azure networking knowledge, including hybrid connectivity, VNets, DNS, and private endpoints.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TACOS tooling such as Atlantis, Digger, or equivalent.
• Background working in regulated industries, with healthcare/HIPAA experience considered a plus.
