The Role

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role blends technical

expertise, leadership and a passion for cloud technologies. You will be instrumental in automating,

optimising and securing our Azure environments, driving efficiency and innovation across our

projects.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring best practice in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring

and security.

● Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.

● Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within Azure, enhancing automation

and consistency.

● Mentor junior DevOps team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of

continuous improvement.

● Stay abreast of the latest Azure services and features, evaluating their potential impact

on our projects.

● Ensure system reliability and performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues

proactively.

What We are Looking For

Essential:

● SC eligible, with the ability to obtain SC clearance.

● Proven track record as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with extensive experience across

Azure services.

● Strong background in CI/CD tooling, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC

(Terraform, ARM templates).

● Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to DevOps best practice.

● Outstanding communication skills, able to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary

teams.

Desirable:

● Azure certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions

Architect Expert (highly preferred).
