Senior Azure / DevOps Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for an Azure / DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage Azure environments, automate deployments, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support production operations for the MIGA Guarantees Data Platform, reporting, analytics, dashboards, APIs, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for data, BI, API, and application components.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, release promotion, rollback, and post-deployment validation.
• Manage Azure environment configurations, deployment settings, and release documentation.
• Support Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, PostgreSQL, Power BI, .NET Core APIs, and Angular applications.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, job monitoring, and automated recovery processes.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot deployment failures, pipeline failures, and service incidents.
• Support release planning, production readiness, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Apply secure configuration management, access controls, and approved deployment practices.
• Maintain operational runbooks, release notes, automation scripts, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with development, data engineering, BI, QA, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Support SLA compliance, scheduled data-load execution, and critical production incidents.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience, with strong relevant Azure / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Deployment automation, environment configuration, and release management.
• Source control, build and release processes, and rollback procedures.
• Azure monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Incident management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Security-aware deployment practices and configuration management.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional coordination.

• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• PostgreSQL and related Azure services
• Power BI deployment requirements
• .NET Core APIs and Angular applications
• Automation scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform or Bicep
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
