Senior Azure Engineer (Projects)

💰 £50k to £55k, with some flex for the right person

📍 Bath or Bristol, hybrid (3 days onsite)

We’re working with an established Microsoft Solutions Partner in the South West. They’re one of the faster growing MSPs in the region and have just opened a second office. They hold Solutions Partner designations across Infrastructure, Modern Work and Security, plus ISO 27001. They’ve got more project work than the team can handle, so they’re adding a Senior Azure Engineer to the projects team.

This is project work, not support. The service desk handles BAU, so your time goes on delivery. Most of the work is moving SME customers into Azure, with M365 projects alongside it.

What you’ll be doing

• Working on Azure migrations, moving customers from on premises into the cloud
• Building and configuring Azure infrastructure and hybrid identity
• Delivering M365 projects, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune
• Building security into delivery as standard (Defender, Entra, Purview)
• Working alongside the wider projects team and with customers during delivery
• Writing clean documentation so projects land smoothly with the service desk

What they’re looking for

• Project focused experience in an MSP or Microsoft partner, whether you’re delivering or supporting projects
• Strong hands on Azure experience, ideally including migrations
• Solid M365 experience
• Comfortable working independently without much hand holding
• Security exposure (Defender, Entra, Purview) is a big plus
• Certs like AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102 or SC-300 are welcome, but hands on experience matters more
