Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Integration Lead to design, develop, and manage enterprise-grade integration solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in APIs, Azure Integration Services, networking fundamentals, and solution architecture, along with the ability to engage effectively with senior business and technical stakeholders.

This role combines hands-on technical delivery, architectural leadership, stakeholder management, and consulting capabilities to support complex digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Develop integration architectures leveraging Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus .
• Define API strategies, integration patterns, and governance standards.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues involving IP addresses, ports, routing, network access, and hybrid connectivity scenarios.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure and reliable integrations.
• Lead the technical implementation of enterprise integration projects.
• Support CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Work closely with solution architects, business leaders, project managers, and vendor teams.
• Present architecture recommendations and integration strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and architectural standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in IT, with strong expertise in Azure integration and enterprise integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
• Solid understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and solution architecture principles.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, ports, protocols, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and connectivity issues.
• Strong technical leadership, consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with enterprise security and governance requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated ability to combine hands-on engineering with architectural thinking.
• Experience leading complex enterprise integration initiatives.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams.

Work Arrangement

The successful candidate must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement in Sydney, attending the office 2 days per week and working remotely for the remaining 3 days.
