Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js
• Build and optimize server-side rendering / API routes using Next.js
• Design efficient MongoDB schemas, write optimized queries, and manage database performance
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
• Working experience with Next.js (API routes, SSR/ISR concepts)
• Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing)
• Good understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, sessions)
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of server-side concepts: caching, middleware, error handling, security best practices
• Basic knowledge of deployment/hosting environments (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar)

Good to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching layers
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with GraphQL

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
