Senior Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at qiibee, you will work in a tight-knit and highly efficient team to solve key problems in our loyalty ecosystem using cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for driving features from the design stage to production and making critical tech decisions. You will have full ownership of backend systems and deliver high-performance, production-ready services.

• Working on existing and implementing new backend services written in Elixir and Node.js
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries
• Write efficient, clean, and well-tested code for high-throughput systems
• You will work in sync with other team members, share knowledge and make suggestions for improvements
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and reliability of backend services

💼 Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in Node.js
• Strong experience with Express and AWS Lambda
• Proven ability to build high-performance systems
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of async programming, queues, and API design
• Ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end

👉 Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry
• Experience with Elixir (Phoenix, Ecto, OTP)
• Experience in AWS cloud platform and CI/CD pipelines
