Senior Backend Developer

As one of the largest Server Side Tracking hosting companies in the world (based in the Netherlands), we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer. We are developing the world's first data performance platform for marketers and developers to navigate the increasingly complex landscape of online marketing.

Will you help us build the most innovative and powerful tracking platform for tens of thousands of users?

In this role, you share responsibility for our backend environment. You contribute to the platform's direction, actively work on the architecture, and engage in developing new features. Within our structure, you can work autonomously and are capable of designing and delivering new developments from A to Z.

You will work alongside a team of talented, experienced developers whose shared mission is to take the product to the next level. You build scalable solutions and ensure that we continuously expand our internal knowledge and capacity.

In addition, you will:

• Contribute and build scalable systems with the team that handle over a billion requests per day;
• Optimize our backend for maximum performance;
• Work on solutions such as monitoring, tracking innovations, and analytics within the TAGGRS platform;
• Contribute to the further development of the TAGGRS API and internal tooling;
• Collaborate with major international advertising platforms, such as Meta and Google, on innovative product integrations.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with talent and ambition. Do you recognize yourself in this description?

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in SaaS, where you have developed scalably and made architecture choices;
• Experience with multiple programming languages and abstract thinking is a plus;
• Strong team player;
• Excellent communication skills: you communicate clearly about development progress and challenges you encounter;
• Eager-to-learn mindset: you are always interested in new technologies for further development;
• Available for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• Minimum completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree or equivalent.
