Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend systems across various domains such as networking, retail, e-commerce, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, refactor, and maintain scalable, efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and applications using Java, Node.js, or Python
• Ensure high performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations with external systems and services
• Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
• Lead daily technical activities, coordinate with the Project Manager on technical planning, task breakdown, and estimation
• Identify technical risks and propose appropriate solutions and improvements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards, design principles, and best practices are followed
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and propose improvements to development practices, architecture, and engineering processes

Required skills/Experience:

• Strong experience with Java, Node.js, or Python and relevant backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, NestJS, Express, FastAPI, or Django
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (Software Engineering).
• TOEIC score: ≥650 or an equivalent level of English proficiency.
