What they need

Senior Backend Engineer | Node.js / TypeScript / AWS | £500–£570pd

I'm looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fantastic consumer technology business on a 3 month preliminary contract inside IR35 basis.

You'll be working to build and optimise the backend services and APIs responsible for connecting a HW device to the Cloud.

The role will cover:

Node.js / TypeScript / AWS
RESTful APIs
Backend development for new product features
Scalability and performance optimisation
Audio/content delivery
Bug fixing and improving existing services
Testing and ownership of your own code

Experience within audio/streaming would be particularly valuable, with MQTT, IoT or connected hardware experience also highly desirable.

£500–£570 per day
3 months
Inside IR35
Flexible hybrid – Up to one day a week
Office in Central London
Looking for someone senior who can hit the ground running
