We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic development team. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using technologies such as C#, Java, Python, and Node.js within a microservices architecture.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services (SOAP, XML, JSON) to ensure seamless communication between frontend applications and backend systems.
• Develop and manage databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle (PL/SQL), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms while adhering to best practices for API security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with Angular, React, or other frameworks using TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Participate actively in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, or SVN.
• Conduct thorough debugging and unit testing to ensure code quality; utilize tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse for application development.
• Engage in system architecture planning for cloud deployment on AWS or Azure; leverage cloud services for scalability and resilience.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, APIs, database schemas, and deployment procedures in accordance with SDLC standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms for deploying scalable backend solutions.
• Strong proficiency in RESTful API design; familiarity with SOAP web services is a plus.
• Deep understanding of web development principles including MVC frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or Ruby on Rails.
• Hands-on experience with ORM tools like Hibernate or Entity Framework for database interaction.
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL), PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; solid understanding of database design principles.
• Knowledge of application development using C#, Java, Python or Ruby; experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming models.
• Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS; experience managing code repositories effectively.
• Experience working within Agile environments utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies; strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to write clean code with a focus on unit testing and debugging; familiarity with tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse is essential.
• Knowledge of front-end integration using Angular, React or other JavaScript frameworks; understanding of UI/UX principles is advantageous.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is required.
