About the role
We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang, freelance) to join the engineering team of a globally recognized, high-traffic consumer social application.
Responsibilities
Design and scale Go microservices under high-traffic, low-latency conditions
Apply Clean Architecture / DDD principles to keep the codebase maintainable
Work across the GCP ecosystem (GKE, Spanner, Pub/Sub, Terraform)
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and observability practices (monitoring, alerting)
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-scale environment
Profile wanted
Requirements
Proven experience building Go/gRPC services in high-traffic production environments
Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and/or Domain-Driven Design
Experience with Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, and the GCP ecosystem is a strong plus
Degree from a top-tier engineering school and/or experience at a recognized scaleup/unicorn company
Comfortable working autonomously under high technical and delivery standards
