Senior Backend Engineer (.NET + Azure)

YOUR NEW ROLE CODE LEAP CODE LEAP is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer (.NET + Azure) who will help strengthen our backend development. The ideal engineer will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive agile culture initiatives. To be successful, one should effectively communicate with our development and operations team to orchestrate the creation or improvement of solutions that can scale. YOUR EXCITING TASKS

• Develop scalable, maintainable software solutions using C# and .NET
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Implement monitoring and logging using tools like Sentry, or Azure Application Insights
• Ensure secure communication, authentication, and authorization across services following industry security standards
• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and BA/PO through code reviews and knowledge-sharing
• Optimize code quality, performance, and reliability continuously
• Prepare and update technical documentation
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR PERSONALITY

• 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET
• Proven expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure with Container Registry; AKS; API management
• Familiar with Azure services such as FrontDoor, Private link, WAF, DNS & Private DNS zone, Managed Identity, VNet, Network security group, Defender for cloud
• Experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, CosmosDB, NoSQL)
• Proficient in unit testing and test automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and development best practices
• Experience with architectures like Onion, DDD, Event-Driven, or Clean Architecture
• Familiar with leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve productivity and code quality
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
