Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer / SDE-2 with strong hands-on experience in Golang to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of system design, AWS, and backend architecture, along with a problem-solving and ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Build and optimize microservices and distributed systems on AWS.
• Develop robust REST APIs and integrate internal and external services.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with Product, Mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Participate in HLD/LLD, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Take ownership of projects from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), concurrency, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems.
• Strong knowledge of High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and system design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
