Senior Backend / Integration Developer

About the role

You'll take a hands-on role in designing and building the integration layer between our ERP and internal platforms. This is a 6-month contract position where you will help build a new ERP Integration Service that connects our ERP platform with multiple internal systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable ERP Integration Service / Integration Layer
• Develop APIs and backend services connecting ERP with internal systems
• Design data mapping and transformation across systems
• Integrate using REST APIs, Webhooks, Databases, Files, or other integration methods
• Design reliable error handling, retry, logging, monitoring, and reconciliation
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization
• Handle transaction integrity and data consistency across systems
• Build automated and integration tests
• Troubleshoot integration and production issues
• Work closely with ERP vendors, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Business teams

About you

• 5+ years of Backend / Software Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with system integration and API development
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL
• Experience designing reliable integrations between multiple systems
• Good understanding of asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, error handling, and data consistency
• Ability to independently drive technical solutions from design through production
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating across technical and business teams
• Experience with ERP integrations such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar is a plus
