Senior Backend Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build high-performance and reliable backend services following best practices.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using MongoDB.
• Implement caching and high-performance data access using Redis.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS.
• Work with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) for container orchestration and application deployment.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and support integration with React-based applications.
• Implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Redis.
• Good experience with AWS cloud services.
• Practical experience with Amazon EKS / Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with React and frontend-backend integration.
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
